PRTE 2025 - Advanced Transtibial Prosthetic Fabrication

Credits: 4
Hours/Week: Lecture 1 Lab 6
Internship hours per week 0
Course Description: This course focuses on fabrication of patella tendon bearing (PTB) transtibial prostheses. Course activities use anatomical and patient information to rectify positive models and design prostheses. Course assignments incorporate a variety of components and suspension systems into the transtibial devices fabricated in this course. This course covers shaping, laminating, and finishing of patellar tendon-bearing (PTB) prostheses.
