POLS 1035 - Constitutional Law Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab None Course Description: This course examines the development of constitutional principles, judicial review, commerce powers, executive action, civil rights and liberties, and the pivotal role of the U.S. Supreme Court in maintaining the checks and balances of our Federal system of government. This course is intended for all students, and it is of special interest for students interested in government and political science. - compare and contrast the various methods and standards utilized by the Supreme Court when deciding constitutional issues
- prepare case briefs of historically significant Supreme Court cases.
