CAPL 1010 - Introduction to Software Applications Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture 3 Lab None Course Description: This introductory course is an overview of the following Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Word-a word processing program; Microsoft Excel-an electronic spreadsheet; Microsoft Access-a database program; and Microsoft PowerPoint-a presentation graphics program. Students reinforce their skills by completing assignments that integrate the applications. This course emphasizes hands-on computer applications. This course requires basic computer competency (use of keyboard, mouse, and Windows). MnTC Goals None
