Learning Outcomes At the end of this course students will be able to:

- identify the advantages of acquiring and maintaining adequate muscle strength, muscle endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility throughout the lifespan.
- identify target heart rate training zone.
- explain guidelines for safely beginning and progressing in a step aerobics program.
- use step techniques and skills.
