ABOD 1010 - Introduction to Welding for Auto Body Credits: 4 Hours/Week: Lecture None Course Description: This course covers the identification and performance of gas, plasma cutting, and MIG equipment as it pertains to auto body. Topics include welding terms and safety procedures, setup, shutdown and performance on various gauges of steel in a variety of positions. Students will perform bead, lap and butt welding in the vertical and overhead positions. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements. MnTC Goals None
