HSER 2780 - Internship I Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab None Course Description: This is the first of two courses designed for students to gain work experience in a social service setting. Through the internship, students have opportunities to further develop skills learned in the program, gain additional knowledge about the field, and explore career paths of interest to them. Interns complete a minimum of 120 hours at the site. Students may take both HSER 2780 and HSER 2781 in the same term. Students should be aware that a MN Human Services background study and fingerprinting may be required. MnTC Goals None

Learning Outcomes At the end of this course students will be able to:
