OFFT 2783 - Medical Office Practicum Credits: 1-3 Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab None Course Description: This course is an unpaid internship designed to provide a realistic occupational experience in the medical office. The administrative and coding tracks require 2 credits (80 hours) of work experience. The transcription track requires 3 credits (120 hours) of work experience. Students must be in their final semester before graduation. A Minnesota Human Services background study with no restrictions is required. Preference will be given to medical office diploma or AAS students. This course requires students to be in their final semester. MnTC Goals None
