NURS 1028 - Directed Study in Nursing

Course Description: This course provides opportunity for directed study in nursing theory, lab, simulation, and/or clinical for nursing students in the classroom, long term care, community, or acute care settings. The course content, credits, and evaluation methods are individualized based on an assessment of each student’s learning needs and previous nursing coursework. The focus of the course is the demonstration of the student’s competency in identified learning goals related to safe, holistic nursing care. Acceptance and current enrollment into the nursing program is required.
