MUSC 1065 - Introduction to Music Technology

Course Description: This course is an introduction to music technology. It is intended for all students wishing to learn the fundamentals of digital music production and explore music technology resources. Topics include the physics of sound and hearing, digital audio software and hardware, MIDI, virtual instruments, digital processing techniques, music notation programs, technology resources for musicians, and current trends in music technology.
