COS 1007 - Preclinic Hair Styling and Design Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture 2Lab 2 Course Description: This course provides elementary hair service skills including trichology, shampooing, conditioning, thermal and wet hairstyling on all types and lengths of hair, wigs, and extensions. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements. MnTC Goals None
Prerequisite(s): Assessment score placement in RDNG 0950 or above, or completion of RDNG 0900 with a grade of C or higher. COS 1000 or concurrent enrollment. Corequisite(s): None Recommendation: None
