HSCI 1000 - Introduction to Healthcare Careers Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture NoneLab None Course Description: This course is designed for students interested in exploring various careers in the healthcare industry, e.g., dental assisting/hygiene, diagnostic imaging, emergency medical services, medical assisting, medical office careers, orthotics and prosthetics, nursing, and other allied health fields. It is an overview of how healthcare is delivered in the United States. This course will give students an opportunity to explore their future in the healthcare industry. MnTC Goals None
