OFFT 2783 - Medical Office Practicum Credits: 1-3 Hours/Week: Lecture NoneLab None Course Description: This course is an unpaid internship designed to provide a realistic occupational experience in the medical office. The administrative and coding tracks require 2 credits (80 hours) of work experience. The transcription track requires 3 credits (120 hours) of work experience. Students must be in their final semester before graduation. A Minnesota Human Services background study with no restrictions is required. Preference will be given to medical office diploma or AAS students. MnTC Goals None
