Program Description

The two-year Business Management program provides students with basic management skills.  The program is designed to equip the student with knowledge and tools that are necessary for those pursuing a career in business or owning their own business.

Program Learning Outcomes

At the end of this program students will be able to:

  • Identify and explain the major functional areas of the business organizations including management, marketing, finance, Information technology, human resources, and accounting.
  • Recognize and recommend practical solutions for common business problems.
  • Apply accounting concepts and financial principles in making decisions about business operation.
  • Integrate management principles in relationship to finance, personnel, products, services, and information.
  • Apply commonly used computer application programs to create relevant business documents.
  • Recognize business practices based on diverse cultural, societal, geographic interactions.
