 Program DescriptionService and installation of heating, cooling, and commercial refrigeration equipment. The emphasis is on residential and commercial HVAC as well as commercial refrigeration. To work in the HVAC-R industry, students must obtain the EPA 608 Clean Air Act Certification. As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to take the EPA exam to obtain the required certification. In addition to these core concepts, the General Education courses required will help ensure individuals have the necessary oral, written, and critical thinking skills to help them with their professional responsibilities.
