Program Description

In this program, students study the management and maintenance of complex enterprise computing environments of companies that use Microsoft operating system technologies. Additionally, students prepare for certifications in advanced computer technology support and configuration. This certificate is designed for students with experience in the industry seeking career advancement.

This advanced certificate requires proficiency in the knowledge and skills related to the fundamentals of computer hardware and software installation and configuration or professional certification.

At the end of this program students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate factual, conceptual, and procedural, knowledge related to the administration and maintenance of enterprise computing systems
  • Apply IT project planning techniques, and IT design process techniques
  • Demonstrate self-learning and use of critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Administer, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Windows desktop, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems
