Program Description

The Social Media Marketing certificate is targeted toward students interested in social media marketing and developing the skills necessary for creating and implementing successful social media marketing strategies. This certificate emphasizes developing social media strategies, tactical management of social media channels, communication methods for social media marketing, and evaluating the performance of social media marketing strategies via web analytics tools. Coursework will include an emphasis on the fundamentals of marketing: price, place, product and promotion in the profit and not-for-profit sectors.
