See the Century College website for information regarding transfer.  This degree program is designed for both employment preparation and transfer. Some of the courses may not transfer to a number of four-year colleges.  If you are considering the possibility of transfer, you may wish to talk with your advisor, counselor, or program instructor before registering to discuss your goals, look at programs designed for transfer, and develop a plan.

At Southwest Minnesota State University:  2.50 GPA in all major course work taken at SMSU including courses transferred from other institutions. A grade point average of 2.00 in all minor course work is required.

BS Management (General Management, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management concentrations)

At St. Cloud State University:  2.65 GPA

BS Business Management
BS Management (Operations Management Concentration, Human Resources Concentration)

At Winona State University:  2.5 GPA, completion of specific courses with “C” or higher

Program Learning Outcomes

At the end of this program students will be able to:

1. Identify and explain the major functional areas of the business organizations including management, marketing, finance, information technology, human resources, and accounting.
2. Recognize and recommend practical solutions for common business problems.
3. Apply accounting concepts and principles in making decisions about business operation.
4. Integrate management principles in relationship to finance, personnel, products, services and information.
5. Apply commonly-used computer application programs to create relevant business documents.
