NVP 1137 - Video 2: Narrative Filmmaking

Credits: 3
Hours/Week: Lecture 2 Lab 2
Course Description: Filmmaking projects that engage people rely on storytelling, group collaboration, and creative problem solving. This course practices the pre-production planning, production, and post-production editing workflow of video projects and narrative film productions.

Note: Some class assignments require students to move, lift, and carry video equipment.

Note: The basis of this industry is to travel to the location of the subject to be filmed. With this in mind, students will be required to travel to locations off-campus and outside of class times to film content for this course. Each student has the responsibility to provide themselves with reliable transportation or adequate arrangements for rides.
