NVP 2137 - Video 5: Narrative Documentaries Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture 2 Lab 2 Course Description: This advanced course applies the previously covered techniques of pre-production, production, and post-production to more complex narrative video production projects including a documentary film. Advanced editing processes are integrated with camera, lighting, and audio operation. This course provides the opportunity to plan, shoot, and edit several productions.
Note: Some class assignments require students to move, lift, and carry video equipment.
Note: The basis of this industry is to travel to the location of the subject to be filmed. With this in mind, students will be required to travel to locations off-campus and outside of class times to film content for this course. Each student has the responsibility to provide themselves with reliable transportation or adequate arrangements for rides. MnTC Goals None
