OPCA 2080 - Clinical Applications of Upper Limb Prostheses Credits: 4 Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab None Course Description: This course involves evaluating, measuring, recording patient information, and making a mold for trans-radial and trans- humeral prosthesis. Students will fabricate and fit the trans-radial and trans-humeral prosthesis. This course will also cover variations in upper limb socket design, review basic upper limb muscular/skeletal anatomy, as well as identify components and material science for upper-limb fabrication. Prerequisite(s): OPCA 2070 with a grade of C or higher or concurrent enrollment. Corequisite(s): None Recommendation: None
