Course Description: The student will be introduced to various disease conditions of patients and the effect these have on the resulting image. The student will also be introduced to other types of imaging modalities including which modality is preferred for diagnosing specific pathologic disorders.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course students will be able to:

Describe changes in technical factors to obtain diagnostic radiographs.
Explain the radiographic appearance of common disorders of the following body systems: Respiratory Skeletal Gastrointestinal Urinary Reproductive Nervous Cardiovascular
State the imaging modality that will best demonstrate a specific disease/disorder.
Differentiate between additive and destructive diseases of the body.
