TRIN 1000 - Orientation to Interpreting Credits: 1 Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab None Course Description: This course introduces students to interpreter codes of ethics and standards of practice. It also introduces basic concepts of interpreting and translating, interpreting modes and settings, and interpreting skills. Coursework includes an initial self-assessment, which helps students evaluate their readiness for a course of study in interpreting. MnTC Goals None
