ECAD 2055 - Introduction to CREO Elements/Pro Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab None Course Description: Students will use CREO Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/Engineer-Wildfire) software by Parametric Technology Corporation. Activities include sketching, creating, editing, and dimensioning of 3D solid models. From these models, students will create 2D drawings and make assemblies. 2D & 3D printing are also covered. The class uses a hands-on approach in order to build a foundation for continued training or self-instruction. MnTC Goals None
Prerequisite(s): ECAD 1020 or ENGR 1020 or instructor consent. Corequisite(s): None Recommendation: ECAD 2050 or ECAD 2053 and course placement into MATH 0070 /MATH 1015 or above or completion of MATH 0030 with a grade of C or higher.
