This degree program is designed for both employment preparation and transfer. Some of the courses may not transfer to a number of four-year colleges. Program Learning Outcomes
Orthotic and Prosthetic Program graduates …
At the end of this program students will be able to:
- are competent, entry-level orthotic and prosthetic professionals prepared in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective learning domains.
- demonstrate the ability to comprehend, apply, and evaluate clinical information relevant to their role in the orthotic and prosthetic profession.
- demonstrate technical proficiency in all skill areas necessary to fulfill their role as an orthotic and prosthetic professional.
- demonstrate effective decision making and critical thinking abilities.
- communicate clearly and effectively with individuals, families, groups, and colleagues of diverse sociocultural backgrounds.
