The Entrepreneurial Certificate is targeted for students who are interested in starting and running their own business. Emphasis may include identifying markets and potential, green/sustainable marketing, business plan development, e-marketing, and leading employees. Coursework will include marketing mix elements of product, place, price, and promotion. The certificate is meant to be a practical approach for developing entrepreneurial skills. The concepts discussed are also meant to provide and strengthen the student’s skills to develop and implement new business growth initiatives within a firm.

At the end of this program students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to provide a self-analysis in the context of an entrepreneurial career.
- Demonstrate the ability to find an attractive market that can be reached economically.
- Create an appropriate business model.
- Demonstrate the understanding of how to launch the individual’s entrepreneurial career.
