ART 1790 - Independent Study Credits: 1-3 Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab None Course Description: Independent study is an opportunity for intermediate and advanced art students to complete an in-depth project or body of work in studio art or art-related research. This coure requires students to have completed all or most Art courses offered at Century College or provide proof (transcripts or portfolio) of completing college-level foundation art courses. This course requires project to be approved prior to enrollment. MnTC Goals None
Prerequisite(s): Instructor and dean consent. Corequisite(s): None Recommendation: This offering is meant to assist students who are planning to major in studio art, art history, or art education.
Major Content To be determined by the student and instructor on an individual basis.
