PRTE 1025 - Foundations of the Prosthetic Device Credits: 3 Hours/Week: Lecture 3 Lab 0 Internship hours per week 0 Course Description: This course provides the foundation for understanding the prosthetic device and its user. This course covers the history of prosthetic devices and current patient considerations within the limb-loss and limb-difference community. This course will detail the anatomy of transtibial amputation, gait biomechanics, and prosthetic components required for device creation. MnTC Goals None
