Should the student elect to proceed with the program and seek a degree, this certificate fits into the Public Safety Associate of Applied Science Degree as a specialty track.

  • Demonstrate effective decision making, critical thinking, and communication skills in written and verbal form.
  • Examine the interactions between public safety agencies.
  • Understand hiring practices, training evolutions, subcultures, attitudes and orientation of public safety agencies.
