Program Description

This leading-edge program blends technical, professional, and liberal arts studies while preparing students for gainful employment in a continually changing workforce. The InterNetwork Emerging Technologies degree is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to allow a student to pursue Information Technology careers, such as network analyst, network engineer, network operations specialist, or network development specialist. The program includes instruction in operating systems and applications; systems design and analysis; networking theory and solutions; types of networks; network management and control; network and flow optimization; security; configuring; and troubleshooting. The program also emphasizes the importance of continued personal and professional development to remain relevant in a rapidly evolving technological environment.

Program Prerequisites

Course placement into MATH 1015  or above, or completion of MATH 0030  with a grade of C or higher, course placement into college-level English and Reading OR completion of ENGL 0950  with a grade of C or higher OR completion of RDNG 0940  with a grade of C or higher and qualifying English Placement Exam OR completion of RDNG 0950  with a grade of C or higher and ENGL 0950  with a grade of C or higher OR completion of ESOL 0051  with a grade of C or higher and ESOL 0052  with a grade of C or higher or instructor consent.
